Site Dedication: In Memory of My Dad
This site is dedicated to my Dad, Robert S. Gardner. He left this earth on April 19, 2006 to be with The Lord Jesus. With his recent passing I've lost my best partner and unwavering friend. His love of the outdoors and sense of sportsmanship I'll always carry with me. I had the priviledge of calling this man "Dad".
Pa, whether on a river in the backcountry of Maine or a wilderness lodge in Manitoba, you'll always be in our thoughts. We miss you, Pa. Alot. Keep your hooks sharp....We love you.
Your Sons,
Den, Steve, Tom, & Barry

Fishing Tips
Until the sun heats things up, river bass will try to stay in waters that are relatively shallow, so bear in mind that fishing a river is sometimes far different from fishing a big lake. Try weedy waters, especially where gravel or mud is present along with adequate cover. If deeper areas are nearby, the bass frequently seek out this water during the heat of day, but in the early morning and in the evening they will come back to the shallows to feed. Northhern pike, when present in a river, will move into the same type of areas as bass, so keep the same advice firmly in mind when you're after big northerns.
